Engine and transmission
With a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, Jeep has given the Compass two engines: a 163 PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and a 172 PS 2.0-litre diesel. A 7-speed DCT is also available for the petrol engine, while a 9-speed automatic is only available for the diesel engine. Only models with diesel automatic transmissions have all-wheel drive.

The Compass has a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a motorised tailgate, and wireless phone charging. Moreover, it contains an automatic air conditioner and a 360-degree camera.
