Kajari Teej 2021: Kajari Teej Fast Today,Know Vrat Vidhi, Puja Material and Katha

On the day of Kajari Teej, suhagan women fast and pray to Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati for the long life of their husbands. On this day, women worship Neemdi Mata. This fast is also performed for happiness and prosperity.Pregnant women can take water and fruits. Virgin girls observe this fast to get a good groom. According to the Hindu Panchang, this time a bhruti yoga is being formed on Kajri Teej. It is believed that all the work done in Dhriti Yoga is completed properly. Kajari Teej is also known as Kajali Teej, Burhi Teej and Saturi Teej.

Kajari Teej Muhurat 

According to the Hindu Panchang, the third date of Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha will start from 4:05 P.M. on 24th August and end at 04:18P.M. on 25th August.

Worship Material 

Collect the puja materials like clay, cow dung, ghee, jaggery, neem twig, kajal, henna, molly, bindiya, raw milk, lamp, lemon, cucumber, banana, apple, sattu, roli, molly, akshat, etc. on kajari teej. 

Method of Worship 

A pond-like shape is made from clay and dung on the side of the wall to perform the puja.The neem branch is planted nearby. Raw milk and water are added to a pond-like shape. The lamp is lit. Lemon, cucumber, banana, apple, sattu, roli, molly, etc. are placed on the plate. 

The puja begins by splashing water and roli to the nimdi mother. With the ring finger, 13 dots are made on the wall behind the Neemdi mata with roli, mehndi. Also, 13 dots of kajal are made with the index finger.

Neemdi Mata is offered with moli followed by mehndi, kajal and textiles. Whatever is offered is reflected in the milk and water of the pond. A reflection of ornaments and sarees is also seen.

After performing puja in the evening on Kajari Teej, chradrama is also worshipped.Women offer roli, akshat and molly to the chandrama and orbit on their place, while worshipping the moon.
