Kargil Vijay Diwas 2022: Today we celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas 2022. Every year On 26th July Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated. In fact, in 1999, Pakistani infiltrator terrorists and soldiers had secretly entered the Kargil hills. Against this infiltration, the Indian Army started 'Operation Vijay' and killed each infiltrator or forced them to flee. 26 July 1999 was the day when the Indian Army completely freed the Kargil hills from the clutches of intruders and Operation Vijay was declared a complete success.

23 years of Kargil War

For uninitiated it's almost 23 years since the Kargil War. This year we are celebrating the 23rd anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Even today, some words of brave warriors who laid down their lives for the country in Kargil ignite the flame of patriotism in Rome and Rome.
