A 177cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine built to BS6 standards is part of the W175 model. The motor, which is coupled to a five-speed transmission, is calibrated to produce a maximum of 13.2Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm and 12.8bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm.

The Kawasaki W175 has a starting price of Rs. 1.47 lakh and a maximum price of Rs. 1.49 lakh. The Kawasaki W175 is available in two variants: STD and the highest model, the W175 Special Edition, which costs Rs. 1.49 Lakh.
