Design details

The Sonet’s revamped façade now includes new LED headlights with downward-extending DRLs and a modified grille with new inlays. Underneath it is the newly designed bumper, which has a skid plate and stylish LED fog lamps. There won’t be any significant alterations to its side profile, save for the new alloys.

Kia hasn’t yet revealed the India-spec Sonet’s back end. However, we can affirm that it will receive a new set of linked LED tail lamps modelled after the Seltos based on previous spy photos and leaked images.

Interior Details

The Kia Sonet facelift’s interior is largely unchanged. The touchscreen infotainment technology remains the same; however, it may see some UI tweaks. There’s a new digital instrument cluster that looks a lot like the one on the new Kia Seltos.

It is known that the top-of-the-range models of the Bose audio system will be available. It is anticipated that Kia will provide a new upholstery colour scheme. Along with redesigned controls, the HVAC system has a new small display.

While there are a few additional features that Kia hasn’t yet disclosed, the addition of ADAS Level 1 to the upgraded Sonet will be the largest update. It will have features like high beam assistance, lane keeping assistance, forward collision avoidance assistance, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning.

Powertrain details

The Kia Sonet facelift powertrain choices will remain the same as those of the existing model. These are a 1.2-litre petrol engine with 83 PS and 115 Nm (with a 5-speed manual gearbox), a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine with 120 PS and 172 Nm (with a 6-speed DCT or a 7-speed iMT), and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 116 PS and 250 Nm (with a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed automatic).
