Leh: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visits Stamina

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visits Stamina, Leh, at around 9 a.m. today. Along with CDS Bipin Rawat and Army Chief H MM Naravane, to review the Security by first hand.

It's Singh's two day visit to forward area along LAC, LoC, In Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Integrated defence forces are present there, troops of Para Droppers carried out Para Dripping exercise in the presence of Defence Minister. He also inspected machine guns.

Earlier, On 3 July Rajanath Singh was expected to visit Leh to take stock of the ongoing situation, but got cancelled. And on the same day Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a surprise visit in Leh.

T-90 tanks and BMP infantry combat vehicles carried exercise.
