Maharashtra Hanuman Chalisa Row: Navneet Rana To Go Delhi

Maharashtra Hanuman Chalisa Row: After being discharged from Lilavati Hospital, MP Navneet Rana is once again vocal against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. She said that she and her husband Ravi will go directly to Delhi from Rana Khar’s house. The Rana couple will leave for Delhi on Monday afternoon and will visit the Ministry of Home Affairs. During this, as per protocol, Navneet Rana will meet the Speaker of Lok Sabha and will also complain about the whole matter.

Earlier, Lok Sabha MP Navneet Rana was admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai from Byculla Jail on Thursday morning for the treatment of spondylosis. She was discharged from the hospital three days later on Sunday. While leaving hospital, her fans raised slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’.

Navneet challenges Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to contest and win any seat of his choice in the state as she will stand against him in the upcoming elections.

She also announced plans to campaign for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections. She said that she will uproot the ‘Lanka of corruption’ built by Shiv Sena, which has been ruling for more than two decades.

Navneet, who was released after 12 days in jail, declared, ‘If chanting Hanuman Chalisa is a crime, then why only 14 days, I am ready to go to jail for 14 years.’ Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also met her at the hospital.

Referring to Shiv Sena MP and chief spokesperson Sanjay Raut, Navneet warned that ‘that ‘popat’ had said in Nagpur that he would bury me 20 feet under the ground. Wait and see, with the Lanka of corruption, he has raised people in BMC. People of Mumbai and Maharashtra will throw him 20 feet below the earth.

The Maharashtra government is likely to file a contempt of court petition against MP Navneet Rana and MLA Ravi Rana, who were recently granted bail in a sedition case for violating the conditions of a bail order. The court had said that the accused couple would not address the press on any subject related to the Hanuman Chalisa recitation case. Despite this condition in the bail order, MP Navneet Rana spoke to the media after coming out of Lilavati Hospital. Amravati MP and her MLA husband Ravi Rana was arrested by Mumbai Police last month after he made a public announcement of reciting Hanuman Chalisa outside Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s private residence ‘Matoshree’ in Bandra.
