Mahindra and Dolby: Mahindra, a domestic SUV specialist, is said to have collaborated with Dolby to provide cutting-edge 3D audio technology to its new line of electric cars (EVs).
The collaboration intends to improve the driving experience with immersive audio, enhanced navigation cues, and safety warnings for autonomous driving aids.
The agreement will equip Mahindra’s BE range of EVs with Dolby Atmos, providing a 360-degree surround sound experience from Harman hardware.

Mahindra will be the first Indian automaker to offer Dolby Digital services in its new electrified vehicle lineup. Cars with the Dolby system will have clearer sound. Dolby Atmos Music, a system that allows you to feel both the separation and positioning of specific instruments or vocals, will also be available in cars.
Mahindra’s BE EVs will have Harman’s 360-degree surround sound gear, with upscale models potentially having speakers on the roof and lower cabin for a completely immersive experience.
The partnership will also deliver navigation guidance and safety alerts for self-driving vehicles.
