Mahindra Scorpio N: The most loved SUV of India to become safer, to get ADAS soon, all we know

Mahindra Scorpio N: Every vehicle must come equipped with lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and rear-cross traffic alert in accordance with Australian safety requirements. By registering the Scorpio N in March, Mahindra was able to avoid being subject to this restriction, which will be in place for all vehicles that are certified for sale beginning in April 2023. It currently has six airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system among its safety features.

Mahindra Scorpio N with ADAS

According to a senior official who spoke to local media, Mahindra will offer the Scorpio N with ADAS features in Australia. Mahindra is forced to comply because ADAS is a requirement for all new vehicles sold in Australia starting in 2025.

Will it get ADAS in India?

It is very possible that the India-spec model will also have ADAS because the vehicle is sold from India.

Mahindra provides two different engine choices for the Scorpio N: a 2-liter turbo-petrol engine (203PS and up to 380Nm) and a 2.2-liter diesel unit (132PS and 300Nm or 175PS and up to 400Nm, depending on the model).

Both of these units come standard with a six-speed manual gearbox. A six-speed automatic gearbox is also included with the stronger diesel and petrol engines. The 175PS diesel is also offered with four-wheel drive, although the Scorpio N comes standard with a rear-wheel-drive system.
