Mahindra: Last year, Mahindra unveiled prototype versions of its next line of all-electric SUVs in the UK. On February 10, it will officially debut 5 new electric SUVs under the XUV.e and BE sub-brands. As a result, the new electric SUVs will be unveiled the day before Hyderabad’s inaugural Formula E racing weekend. The future EV is created by the Oxfordshire, UK-based Mahindra MADE (Mahindra Advanced Design Europe) design team.
Mahindra BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09
Based on the INGLO platform, the Mahindra BE.05 will be a compact SUV. It will be put on top of the XUV400.
The same INGLO platform that supports previous SUVs will support the Mahindra BE.07, a significantly larger SUV than the BE.05. Inside the cabin, it will be furnished with modern luxuries. It’s scheduled to launch in October 2026. The third electric SUV in the automaker’s Born Electric line-up is the Mahindra BE.09. It has the same C-shaped headlamps and tail lights as the previous generation and has a larger overall appearance. However, more information is still unknown.
XUV.E9 and XUV.E8
The INGLO platform served as the foundation for both of Mahindra’s SUVs. The INGLO platform is intended to fit a variety of body shapes, offer faster charging with greater power, and be more safe. The XUV700 is comparable in terms of the basic design, profile, and seat arrangements. Most likely, the Mahindra XUV.e8 would be the first of these electric SUVs to be introduced on the Indian market under the new name with the copper Twin Peaks emblem. It will debut in December 2024.
Mahindra’s XUV.e9 will have a coupe design that, from some perspectives, may make you think of the XUV700. The identical copper Twin Peaks logo we see on the recently unveiled XUV400 will also be used for its launch in the Indian market. It will be released by April 2025, the company has stated.
