The business has set its ex-showroom price in the Indian market at Rs 2.35 crore. The company asserts that the introduction of the Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster will help to further bolster its position in the quickly expanding top-end vehicle market. The Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster is also the classic SL Roadster’s comeback in the most cutting-edge AMG form.
The Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster has an appealing look in addition to having excellent performance. It receives a radiator grille with the Panamericana logo and aggressive, swept-back LED headlights on either side of it. The convertible also has a sleek air dam, multi-spoke alloy wheels with a black paint job, ORVMs that are blacked out, an adjustable spoiler, and quad exhausts.

The vehicle made a long-awaited arrival to India after being introduced to the worldwide market in 2021. The high-performance drop-top model is propelled by a larger 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This engine has a maximum output of 476 HP and 700 Nm when coupled with an AMG Speedshift MCT 9G automatic gearbox. The vehicle has a 0-100 kph acceleration time of just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 295 kph.

The soft top of the roadster may be opened or closed in 15 seconds. The 11.9-inch, vertically oriented MBUX touchscreen entertainment system that tilts in the luxurious, high-performance roadster’s interior is the first thing that catches the eye. There are also carbon fibre inserts, an ambient lighting system, a 12.3-inch completely digital instrument cluster, and HUD. Additional AMG-specific inlays are added to the cabin.
