Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s son died at the age of 26, was suffering from Cerebral Palsy

Zain Nadella, the son of Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, the world’s largest software company, has passed away. Microsoft Corp. Told that the son of the company’s head Satya Nadella died he was suffering from a disease named cerebral palsy since birth.

Cerebral palsy is a neurological disorder that occurs in children, which affects the patient’s ability to move. This affects the growth of the brain and muscles, sometimes even before birth. In some children, its symptoms develop before birth.

Satya Nadella published his book Hit Refresh in 2017, in which he wrote many things about his son’s struggles. In his book, he told that his son was born when he was 27 years old and since his son was born with severe cerebral palsy, it proved to be a turning point in his life. This made a big impact on him and his son helped him bring about many personal and professional changes.

According to a Bloomberg report, Microsoft wrote an email to its employees telling them that Zain Nadella had passed away. The company in its message urged them to keep the Nadella family in their prayers and give their privacy to the family now.

The children’s hospital where most of Zain’s treatment took place last year, along with the Nadella family, started the Zain Nadella Endowed Chair at Pediatric Neurosciences at Seattle’s Children’s Center for Integrative Brain Research.

Jeff Spering, the hospital’s CEO, wrote in a message, “Zain will be remembered for his varied interests in music, his refreshing smile and the joy that his family and loved ones feel when he is with him.”
