In yet another surprising move, the Ministry of Information and Technology has banned as many as 118 Chinese mobile apps in India including the immensely popular Battle Royale game – PUBG Mobile.

However, since life must go on and while you wait and hope that PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite get ‘unbanned’ here are seven alternate games that you can play instead.

According to a recent tweet, the free downloadable game PUBG Mobile saw a staggering 2 million accounts banned during a single week (August 20-27), along with nearly 1.5 million devices.

PUBG Mobile recently announced its 1.0 update, along with a $2 million esports tournament. That update will bring up to a 36% improvement in frame rate and a 76% reduction in lag, according to a press release from Tencent. According to Sensor Tower’s estimates, the game “has doubled its lifetime revenue in just over seven months to more than $3 billion globally.”

1.Call of Duty Mobile:

A childhood favourite of many, the mobile version of Call of Duty launched only last October, and since then, the game has been giving serious competition to PUBG. As per reports, the game saw one of the largest mobile game launches in history, generating over $327 million with 250 million downloads by June 2020.

Just like PUBG Mobile, 100 players jump on to a familiar battlefield with identifiable guns and characters.

2.Rules of Survival:

Rules of Survival is an action-packed Battle Royale game. Up to 300 unarmed players parachute into a vast battleground, where they must fight to be the last alive.

You could either fight alone or form a small team up to 5 players. Collect weapons scattered, arm yourself to the teeth, wield your wisdom and tactics, loot gear from the unlucky.

3.Black survival:

Black Survival is a Real-Time Survival Game, where you must survive by any means out of 10 competitors in a deserted island. Make split-second decisions with a single click! Immerse yourself in the fierce battle for survival; you do not have a second to spare! Search, Craft, Attack, and Run!

There are three game modes; PVP, Ranked game and Practice. PVP pits you against other players of similar rank in a deathmatch. Ranked games also put you up against other human players, but unlike in PVP you earn or lose rank points based on who or what you kill, and what place you finish (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc). Practice pits you against AI enemies.

4.Knives Out:

Openly inspired by Players Unknown Battlegrounds; Knives Out (also known as Wilderness Action) is here to revive the genre of first-person action games by throwing hordes of opponents into the mix. Up to 100 online players melee on an island armed to the teeth with weapons and off-roaders set to gun down a player after player. Needless to say: only one person makes it out alive.

5. Free Fire:

Free Fire is a battle royale game, developed by 111 Dots Studio and published by Garena for Android and iOS. It became the most downloaded mobile game globally in 2019, the game received the award for the “Best Popular Game” by the Google Play Store in 2019. As of May 2020, Free Fire has set the record with over 80 million daily active users globally. As of November 2019, Free Fire has grossed over $1 billion worldwide.
