Motor and Range
There are two available powertrain options for the Nexon EV; the base model uses a 129PS/245Nm electric motor with a 30.2kWh battery pack. The ARAI claims that it has a 312-kilometre range. With a larger 40.5kWh battery cell, the Nexon EV Max receives a 143PS/250Nm electric motor. The long-range model’s stated range is 437 kilometres. A conventional 3.3kWh charger and a 7.2kWh rapid charger are also available for an extra Rs 50,000. With a 50kWh fast charger, the EV can be charged from zero to eighty per cent in under an hour. The powertrain of the small SUV can quickly charge from 0% to 80% in one hour and enables fast charging.
Features
The Nexon EV Prime has a single-pane sunroof, auto AC, auto headlights, and a seven-inch TFT semi-digital instrument cluster with connected car technology. It also has a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There are also additional features available, including smartwatch connectivity, multi-level regenerative braking, and cruise control.
