Peugeot XP 400: In Europe, the latest off-road scooter model from French two-wheeler manufacturer Peugeot is now available. The XP400 is quite purposeful and tough in its design. It has a split seat, a rather tall riding posture, a split LED headlight, and a small adjustable visor. Even the side panels and the entire body are noticeably athletic and off-road-oriented. In order to increase protection, the XP 400 now has handle guards.
The vehicle is equipped with a single 240mm rear ABS unit and a single 295mm front disc, and it rides on USD front forks and a single rear shock. It has spoked wheels with block pattern tyres measuring 17 inches up front and 15 inches down back.
A 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 36.7bhp and 38.1Nm powers the vehicle. A tubular frame holds the engine, which is coupled to a CVT gearbox. The XP 300 comes with a TFT screen from Peugeot that includes an odometer, trip metre, speedometer, fuel level, and other crucial readouts. Along with keyless entry, a USB charging outlet, and fog lights positioned on the crash guards, the scooter also includes additional comforts.
Price and availability in India
The XP400 is offered by Peugeot at EUR 8,249. (approximately Rs 7.29 lakh without taxes). The scooter won't be introduced in a country with a price-sensitive market like India. it is for now exclusively available abroad.
