PM Modi To Inaugurate Iconic Week Celebration

PM Modi will issue a special series of coins of Rs 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20 today. These coins are very special because these special series coins can be easily recognized even by the blind. The PMO has given this information.

The PMO has issued a statement saying that the PM will inaugurate the prestigious week celebrations of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate Affairs at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi at around 10.30 am today. "The Prime Minister will also issue a special series of coins of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20," it said.

Under the special series, these coins will have the logo of AKAM. The PMO statement said, 'These special series of coins will have the theme of the logo of AKAM and the visually impaired will able to recognise it. This week is being celebrated as part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' (AKAM) from 6th to 11th June, 2022.
