Today is the 4th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him. On the death anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Bharatiya Janata Party tweeted that a heartfelt tribute to the father of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the mentor of crores of workers and our source of inspiration, former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna, the revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on his death anniversary.
“Today, on the Punya Tithi of respected Atal Ji, visited Sadaiv Atal and paid tributes to him. We remain inspired by Atal Ji’s efforts to serve India. He made pioneering efforts to transform India and prepare our nation for the challenges of the 21st century” Narendra Modi tweet reads.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Vajpayee ‘made pioneering efforts to transform India and prepare our nation for the challenges of the 21st century’.
President Droupadi Murmu paid tributes to Vajpayee, a prime minister for six years between 1998-2004, and a Bharat Ratna awardee, who died in 2018 at the age of 93.
Vajpayee was awarded the country’s second-highest civilian honour, the Padma Vibhushan, in 1992 and was later conferred India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, by the then president of India Pranab Mukherjee in 2015.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, BJP President JP Nadda, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also paid tributes on the occasion of death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
During this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Param Revered Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, who was honored with “Yug-Purush” Bharat Ratna. Taking inspiration from them, we always dedicate ourselves to building a new India with unwavering intentions and strong determination.

Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also paid tribute to former PM Atal Bihari Bajpai. Also said that I bow to my guru, eminent leader, poet, philosopher, mesmerizing speaker, Ajatashatru, former Prime Minister ‘Bharat Ratna’ Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji in his memory on his death anniversary. I pay my tributes to the greatest leader of our times.
