“24-Carat Traitor”: Congress On Jyotiraditya Scindia

Will Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia return to Congress? When asked about any such possibility, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh called Scindia a ’24-carat traitor’.

Jyotiraditya Scindia left the Congress two years ago. Scindia has got the portfolio of Civil Aviation Ministry in Narendra Modi’s cabinet. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh in Madhya Pradesh’s Agar Malwa during the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra on Friday said people like Kapil Sibal, who maintained a “dignified silence” after leaving the party, could be allowed to return, but Jyotiraditya Scindia Or people like Himanta Biswa Sarma are not allowed.

“24 carat anti-national”.

Congress media chief Jairam Ramesh also called Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia a “24 carat anti-national”. On being asked that if any renegade leader wants to come back then what will be the stand of the Congress party? Ramesh said, “I feel those who have left the Congress should not be welcomed back.”

According to Ramesh, “There are people who left the Congress party and abused, so they should not be taken back. There are people who have left the party with dignity and are maintaining dignified silence on the Congress party and its leadership.” Ramesh is accompanying Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jodo Yatra.

“I can think of my former colleague and a very good friend, Kapil Sibal, who left the party for some reason, but not Scindia and Himanta Biswa Sarma,” Ramesh said. But maintained a very dignified silence.

According to Ramesh, I think leaders who have maintained dignity can be welcomed back, but those who have left the party and kicked out the party and its leadership should not be welcomed back.”
