CM Arvind Kejriwal writes to LG over rising crime in Delhi

Delhi News: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the LG over the rise in the cases of crime in the National Capital . The Chief Minister has also requested the CM to hold a meet to discuss the issue. There have been rise in the cases of murders and killings in the city over the last few months and the residents of Delhi are not feeling safe anymore, said the Delhi CM especially after the incident of four murders in the last 24 hours.

Kejriwal: I urge the LG to take serious steps

The Delhi Chief Minister has urged the LG to take serious action and make sure the people of the city don’t feel unsafe especially women. The CM also expressed shock and concern over four murders in the city in the last 24 hours. He also said that we should not fail in performing our duties as it is our responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of our people.

‘It’s our duty to provide Safety to the Citizens’

The CM indicated that because of the shortage of enough Police Personnel in the areas, the residents are bound to hire Private Security Guards for their safety. He said that people who should be maintaining the Law and order situation should not fail to deliver their duties since people rely on them for their life and safety.
