Kejriwal: Centre Has Put On Hold Delhi Budget Scheduled To Be Presented Tomorrow

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claims that the Center has put a hold on the Delhi government’s budget, which was to be presented in the assembly on Tuesday. According to the Delhi government, the budget has not yet been approved by the Home Ministry of the Central Government. The budget of Delhi needs the approval of the Central Government, after that it is presented in the House.

CM Kejriwal claimed in a private channel program that Delhi’s budget will not be presented on March 21.

According to sources, more than infrastructure, the Delhi government had sent the budget for the expenditure on advertisement. On this, the Ministry of Home Affairs had sought clarification from the government by giving a notice, but till now the Delhi government has not replied. Because of this, the Home Ministry has stopped the budget.

According to the sources, the Ministry of Home Affairs has not approved the budget of the Delhi government so far because the central government was not satisfied with the budget prepared and sent by the Delhi government.

Lack of attention on infrastructure and health issues- Sources

According to the sources of the central government, in the proposed budget of the Delhi government, less attention was given to the issues related to infrastructure, health and common people. More emphasis was given on advertisement in the budget of the Delhi government. That’s why it was said that the budget should be sent again after improving it, but the Delhi government has not yet sent the budget after improving it.

Delhi’s budget session has started from March 17

The budget session of Delhi started from 17 March. On the other hand, Delhi’s budget was to be presented on March 21, but now according to the claim of the Kejriwal government, the budget will not be presented. Delhi’s budget minister Kailash Gehlot was about to present on Tuesday.
