Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated ‘Mahila Mohalla Clinic’ in the capital. Four Mahila Mohalla Clinics have been started now. He told that 100 such clinics will be opened in the first phase. Medicines and all tests related to women will be free in Mahila Mohalla Clinic.
CM Kejriwal said that all the doctors and staff in this clinic will be women only. He said that earlier one had to run to big hospitals and had to stand in long lines, this would get rid of it.
In this Mahila Mohalla Clinic, the first waiting area has been made, where there is a seating arrangement for women. After this, entry will have to be made at the registration counter and there is a doctor’s room next to it.
The medicine desk is present in front of the doctor’s room.
What are the facilities in ‘Mahila Mohalla Clinic’:
All types of tests, ultrasound and medicines related to pregnant women and gynecology will be free.
Tests and medicines will also be free for children below the age of 12 years.
Records of all women will be kept digital.
This Mahila Mohalla Clinic will be fully air conditioned.
Mahila Mohalla Clinic has been imprisoned by CCTV for security.
The entire staff in this Mahila Mohalla Clinic will be of women only.
Women will also be able to discuss with the doctor about their mental health.
