West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav is still strong enough to fight the BJP. Mamata made this statement when she reached Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav’s residence at 5 Deshratna Road on Thursday evening. Mamata took blessings of Lalu Yadav by touching his feet and gifted him a shawl. Banerjee had said that Lalu ji is a very senior leader of the country and I respect him a lot.

Mamata Banerjee had also said that Lalu ji remained in jail for a long time. He also stayed in the hospital for a long time due to illness. I am very happy to see him healthy. He is a very strong person who will fight against BJP. Within 24 hours of Mamta Banerjee’s statement, Lalu Yadav confidently addressed the joint press conference of opposition unity. Lalu Yadav said that we are all one. The days of BJP are about to come to an end. During this, Lalu was seen in his old style. He said a few things to Rahul Gandhi in his familiar cheeky style.
Lalu said on Rahul’s marriage
Lalu Yadav said that ‘You get married, we will go to the wedding procession’. In response, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that if you said, then (marriage) will happen. After the meeting of the opposition parties, Prasad, after addressing the media, also praised Rahul Gandhi by mentioning his ‘Bharat Jodo’ yatra. Referring to the raising of the Adani issue by Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, Prasad said that you did a good job in the Lok Sabha. Pointing to Rahul Gandhi’s beard, he said that if you start roaming around, you have grown your beard, don’t take it down. The former Chief Minister of Bihar said that you did not listen to our advice, did not get married. Time does not pass now. You get married, we go to the procession.

Lalu Yadav said that the people of the country are of the opinion that the opposition should be united. The public knows that we have a vote, but we are not able to unite. Lalu said in gestures that BJP and RSS people win because of lack of unity.
