Mehbooba Mufti has alleged that Aryan Khan is being targeted because of his surname

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti has targeted the central government on the case of Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who is facing complications in the drug case. Taking an attacking stand, Mehbooba Mufti said that action is being taken against Shahrukh’s son Aryan because Khan his surname.

Mufti also said that the central government is ignoring the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. They does not see the happenings there and government agencies are targeting a 23-year-old child. Apart from this, he also accused Muslims of being persecuted to please the BJP vote bank.

Accusing the central government over this matter, Mehbooba Mufti tweeted, in which she wrote, ‘Instead of setting an example in the case of the son of a union minister accused of killing four farmers, the central agencies are after the 23 year old boy. This is because the boy’s surname is Khan. By ridiculing justice, Muslims are targeted to please the core vote bank of the BJP and fulfill their wishes.’

PDP president Mehbooba Mufti had accused the central government of using ‘muscle power’ for political gains, saying the situation in Jammu and Kashmir was getting worse. Mufti claimed that he has been placed under house arrest for not allowing him to meet the relatives of a Muslim man who was gunned down by CRPF personnel on Thursday in Anantnag district.

Mehbooba wrote on her Twitter, ‘The situation in Jammu and Kashmir has gone from bad to worse. My fear is compounded by the fact that instead of reform, the Indian government will continue the policy of using muscle power to gain political mileage in elections. The reason for this is the next election to be held in Uttar Pradesh.

He further wrote, ‘I am under house arrest once again today. Wanted to visit the family of an innocent civilian killed in an encounter with CRPF. The Indian government wants us to condemn the selective killings. They get angry only in those cases where politics of hate can be started to polarize people.’

Parvez Ahmed was killed by CRPF personnel when security personnel signaled him to stop near a border post, but he failed to stop his vehicle. He was killed on the same day when terrorists shot dead two teachers in the city’s Idgah area.
