PM Modi said in the policy of NITI Aayog, ‘Give support to private sector for self-reliant India’

The meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog is going on. It is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is addressing the sixth meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog through video conferencing.

Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that today when the country is going to complete 75 years of its independence, the meeting of the Governing Council has become more important. I would urge the states that committees should be formed by connecting all the people of the society in their respective states for 75 years of independence.

Prime Minister Modi said in the meeting that there has been an increase in agricultural exports during the Corona period. Storage and processing needs attention in this area. The government is working with a holistic approach from farming to fisheries. The Prime Minister said that during the Corona period we have seen how the state and central government worked together and the country was successful. The Center and the states will have to work together for the progress of the country… For economic progress, the government has to respect the private sector and also give proper representation.

PM Modi said that a good image of India was also built in the world. We are also seeing how the private sector of the country is coming forward with more enthusiasm in this development journey. As a government, we also have to respect this enthusiasm, the energy of the private sector and give it as much opportunity in the self-reliant India campaign.

Since 2014, more than 20 million houses have been constructed, including villages and cities. A campaign to build houses with modern technology is going on in 6 cities of the country. In a month, new models will be prepared to build good houses with new technology.

Shortage of water and disease caused by polluted water should not obstruct the development of people, work is being done in mission mode in this direction. Since the water mission, more than 30 million rural houses have been connected with piped water supply.

The Central Government has introduced PLI schemes for various sectors. This is a great opportunity to increase manufacturing in the country, the states should take full advantage of this scheme and attract more and more investment. States should also take advantage of reducing the rate of corporate tax.
