Punjab: employees who do not get vaccine, order to send them on leave after September 15

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Friday announced that employees who did not get their first dose of the corona vaccine due to reasons other than health would be sent on compulsorily leave from September 15. Captain Amarinder Singh has taken this tough step to save the people of Punjab from infection.

Relief has been given to the employees who have not got the corona vaccine due to any health reasons. At the same time, the rest of the employees will have to get the vaccine by 15 September. If an employee does not get the vaccine by September 15, then he will be compulsorily sent on leave. This leave will continue until he receives the first dose of the vaccine.

In the high-level virtual COVID review meeting held on Friday, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that the effectiveness of the vaccine has become clear in the analysis data. He said that special efforts have been made to vaccinate government employees but those who have been avoiding it will now be asked to go on leave till the first dose is received.

The corona restrictions imposed in Punjab have been extended till 30 September. An order has been issued by the CMO saying that in view of the current situation of corona infection, it has been decided to continue the ban in Punjab till 30 September. In view of the security in view of the upcoming festivals, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has issued an order to carry forward these corona restrictions.

According to the order issued by the CM, not more than 300 people will be able to attend political rallies as well as all programs. Along with this, it will be very important for the public to wear masks as well as follow social distancing.
