Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently shared a video of his discussion with former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik. During their meeting, Malik discussed various issues, including the Pulwama attack, the Adani issue, Manipur violence, and the caste census.

Malik pointed to systemic failures that he believed contributed to the Pulwama attack in 2019, where 40 CRPF soldiers lost their lives. He cited a delay in the approval of a request for aircraft to transport these personnel and the subsequent rejection of the application after a four-month delay. This resulted in the CRPF personnel taking an unsafe road. Additionally, he alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked him to refrain from discussing the security lapses connected to the Pulwama incident.

Furthermore, Malik highlighted the Manipur issue, stating that the situation was peaceful until the government disrupted it, attributing the ethnic clashes and ensuing violence to the government's failure to maintain stability.
