Rahul Gandhi: Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod Rally in Delhi Today, When Will The Congress Learn? Stupidity or Hiding From The Reality?

Rahul Gandhi: The Congress party will hold a rally today at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital, intensifying its campaign over the SIR issue and alleged “vote chori“.

The rally has been called by AICC President Mallikaarjun Kharge and senior party leader Rahul Gandhi.

Call By State Party Leaders To Join Rahul Gandhi Rally

Jharkhand Congress President Keshav Mahto Kamlesh remarked the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee has made extensive preparations for the event. He added party workers, leaders and representatives from across the state have already city the capital city in large numbers.

Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel said the “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” rally would mark the move by Congress towards a decisive political struggle. Baghel added the rally will help mobilize public support and present the deepening concerns of the party directly to the public.

The Rahul Gandhi rally will be attended by several top party leaders including Andhra Pradesh CM A. Revanth Reddy, along with several ministers. The party high command had instructed the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) to collect 25,000 signatures by December 8 from each district. The TPCC will present its report on the signature drive on the rally day to Rahul Gandhi.

Lucknow Protest

On November 27, tensions had flared in Lucknow when members of youth Congress party staged a protest. Police barricades were crossed and several key roads were blocked while workers marched towards the Vidhan Sabha. Many youth Congress workers were detained after they refused to disperse. The action was heavily criticized by the Congress party that alleged peaceful democratic protests were met with excessive police action.
