Who will be next Karnataka CM?

Only a little time is left for the results of Karnataka elections 2023 to come. This assembly election is being considered as the semi-final of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024. Therefore, both BJP and Congress have left no stone unturned to exert their might to win the election. On Saturday, May 13, the results of the elections will come out and it will be clear that whose government is going to be formed in the state. But after the results, one big question will be in everyone’s mind and that is- Who will become the Chief Minister? Let us tell you that whose names are there in the list of CMs.

Siddaramaiah

According to the results of exit polls, Congress can get an edge in this election. In such a situation, let’s talk about Congress first. Siddaramaiah may be preferred from the Congress side. The reason for this is that Siddaramaiah can be helpful in increasing the chances of the Congress in Karnataka in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. Siddaramaiah belongs to Siddaramahundi in Mysuru district and once served as the CM of Karnataka from 2013 to 2018. But his negative side is that the people of Lingayat community have ill-will towards Siddaramaiah. Apart from this, the decision to release many workers of PFI and SDPI has increased resentment among Hindus.

DK Shivakumar

DK Shivakumar is also being seen as a contender for the post of CM of Congress. DK Shivakumar is among the loyalists of the party. DK Shivakumar is considered an expert in taking big risks and changing old perceptions. In the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, Shiv Kumar pitted the inexperienced Tejaswini against Deve Gowda from the Kanakapura Lok Sabha seat and defeated Deve Gowda. Apart from this, he has also directly messed with Narendra Modi and Amit Shah in the Rajya Sabha elections of Gujarat. Apart from this, DK Shivakumar is counted among the rich politicians. DK Shivkumar can be helpful in raising funds for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. But the negative side of DK Shivakumar is that many cases are pending against him. He has also spent 104 days in jail and is now out on bail.
