A controversial statement by Congress leader and former MP Dr. Udit Raj has triggered a major political storm in Uttar Pradesh. Akash Anand, the nephew of Mayawati and National Coordinator of BSP, is upset over Udit Raj’s remarks against his aunt, Mayawati. Akash Anand has urged Uttar Pradesh Police to arrest Udit Raj within 24 hours. Moreover, BSP leaders have accused Dr. Udit Raj of issuing a death threat to former Chief Minister Mayawati and have demanded strict action from Yogi Government’s police.

Akash Anand’s Demand from Police Regarding Udit Raj

Akash Anand took to social media platform X and wrote, “Today in Lucknow, some old associates of Honorable Kanshiram Saheb and sometimes BJP and sometimes Congress sycophant Udit Raj have given a lot of knowledge on Saheb's mission. Whereas Udit Raj is notorious for looking for opportunities in other parties for his own selfish interests. He is concerned about the Bahujan Movement only so that he can become an MP or MLA by sycophanting some party. This has nothing to do with the upliftment of the Bahujan society. I am a young soldier of the Bahujan Mission but I understand the mission of Baba Saheb and Manyavar Saheb more than this. The kind of threat that is present in its language today is absolutely intolerable to crores of soldiers of the Bahujan Mission.”

Akash further stated, “Forgetting the mission of Honorable Saheb for his own selfish interests, this sycophant is today criticizing our most respected lady who gave social and economic liberation to millions of Dalits, exploited, deprived poor people of the country with political power. He is threatening to "strangle" respected sister Miss Mayawati ji. I want to clearly tell @uppolice that these criminals should be arrested within 24 hours and strict action should be taken under the law, otherwise the Bahujan youth of the country is not going to sit quiet, I know very well how to teach them a lesson.”

BJP Leader Attacks Congress Over Udit Raj’s Statement

Meanwhile, BJP leader Amit Malviya has questioned Rahul Gandhi regarding Congress leader Udit Raj’s statement. On X, he wrote, “Congress leader Udit Raj is saying that his 'Krishna' has ordered him to kill BSP supremo Mayawati. Is Rahul Gandhi the person who has been given the title of Krishna? Has the irritation within the Congress increased so much that violence has now taken over both language and politics?”

The BJP leader further added, “Political opposition is one thing, but how justified is it to talk about killing someone in public life like this? Congress has always been anti-Dalit, and this conspiracy reflects the same mentality. Earlier, SP had also carried out a similar murderous attack on Mayawati.
