Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: The Congress party unveiled its second list of candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections in 2023. This list includes the names of 43 candidates, among whom are several prominent figures. Some of the key candidates from this list include Raghu Sharma, who will be contesting from the Kekri constituency, Pratap Khachariyawas from Civil Lines, and Vishvendra Singh from Deeg-Kumher.
Babu Lal Nagar, an ardent supporter of Ashok Gehlot, has been nominated to represent the Dudu constituency. He played a pivotal role in supporting the formation of the Rajasthan government under Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's leadership during the previous elections.

Former Chief Secretary's Candidacy
Notably, Niranjan Arya, the former Chief Secretary of Rajasthan and a close associate of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, has been nominated as the Congress candidate for the Sojat constituency.
Previous and First List of Candidates
This announcement comes after the release of the party's first list of candidates for the elections. The initial list featured five ministers, 28 sitting MLAs, and an independent candidate who had secured victory in the 2018 Rajasthan assembly elections. Among the notable candidates in the first list were Archana Sharma from Malviya Nagar and Pushpendra Bharadwaj from Sanganer, both of whom had lost in the previous elections.
