Rajnath Singh says ”India proud of DRDO”, ATGM successfully test-fired

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has successfully tested a laser guided tank destroyer missile developed in the country from the firing range at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.

He said the missile can hit a distance of four kilometers. As part of the experimental test, the missile was fired from an MBT Arjun tank at KK range located at Armed Corps Center.

Officials said that the laser-guided tank destroyer missile (ATGM) is expected to significantly increase the Indian Army’s combat power, especially along the borders with Pakistan and China. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO on successful experimental testing of ATGM.

He tweeted, “Congratulations for successfully conducting the laser guided tank destroyer missile from MBT Arjun tank from KK range in Ahmednagar, DRDO! India is proud of the DRDO team which is working hard to reduce import dependence in the near future. “

Rajnath Singh tweeted, ‘DRDO has crossed a milestone today with a successful flight test from ITR Balasore to practice – high-speed expandable aerial target. It can be used as a target for evaluating various missile systems. Congratulations to DRDO and the people associated with this achievement.

The device is an indigenously developed micro-electro-mechanical system-based system. It is used for navigation.

The drone drone works on a small gas turbine engine. It runs on MEMS navigation system and flight control computer. The practice is designed for fully autonomous flight.
