All about the Range Rover Velar Facelift

Exterior

The New Range Rover Velar has sharp headlamps backed by a slightly updated front grille with an all-black theme, as well as unique LED daytime running lights integrated into them. The SUV’s redesigned bumper at the back includes a lower portion that has been changed. The premium SUV’s side profile is the same as it was before the redesign. The automobile is now offered in colours such as Metallic Varesine Blue and Premium Metallic Zadar Grey.

Interior

The Velar’s new cockpit configuration, which aligns it with its larger Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, is the most noticeable difference. The new 11.4-inch “floating” touchscreen that runs the most recent version of JLR’s Pivi Pro infotainment system is the highlight of this. According to the automaker, customers will only need to tap the home screen twice to access 80% of the functionalities that are available. The new centre console is simple, lacking any physical controls and no longer having a separate touchscreen for the climate control. It also has a hidden storage compartment and wireless phone charging.

Powertrain

The SUV’s plug-in hybrid powertrain has a battery upgrade that increased its capacity from 13.6 kWh to 19.2 kWh, extending its range. The new 19.2kWh battery, which gives the Velar a 64km all-electric range, is the biggest improvement.
