Samruddhi Expressway Bus Accident: A terrible event occurred in Maharashtra on Friday. A bus travelling from Nagpur to Pune was involved in an accident in Buldhana. Information indicates that the bus flipped over and caught fire as it was travelling on the Samridhi Mahamarg Highway close to Buldhana. There were 33 individuals onboard the bus, according to Buldhana Police Deputy SP Baburao Mahamuni. 25 of them perished in the fire.

The reason behind the Samriddhi Expressway Bus Accident

According to the police, a private bus travelling from Nagpur to Pune struck a divider at around 1:30 am on Friday while travelling close to Sindkhedraja in the Buldhana district.

According to early reports, Buldhana Superintendent of Police (SP) Sunil Kadas stated that the bus struck a divider after a tyre ruptured after colliding with a pole and caught fire.

25 of the bus's 33 occupants, according to the official, died as a result of burn injuries. He stated that the remaining eight passengers had been transported to the nearby hospital and were in good condition.

What did one of the passengers say?

 Yogesh Ramdas Gawai Bhalegaon, who sustained injuries in the accident in Buldhana, said that I was riding in a Vidarbha Travel bus. At Samriddhi, our bus was involved in an accident and immediately caught fire after flipping over. After smashing the glass, 3 to 4 of us escaped. The moment we exited the vehicle, there was an explosion. Within ten to fifteen minutes of the event, the fire was brought under control by the fire squad.
