Stock Market Update: 11 Out of 30 Sensex stocks saw a falling trend

Stock Market Update: The effect of weak signal from the global market was seen on the Indian stock market on the first day of the trading week. At the beginning of the trading session, the major indices Sensex and Nifty opened with red marks. The 30-share Sensex fell 167 points and opened at the level of 57,783.75 points. Apart from this, 50-share Nifty also started trading falling and it lost 40 points and opened at the level of 17,144.80. In the early trade, 11 out of 30 Sensex stocks saw a falling trend.

However, some time after the market opening in the trading session, recovery was seen in Sensex and Nifty. At around 9.25 in the morning, the Sensex was seen falling 84.54 points at the level of 57,835.43 points. At the same time, Nifty was seen down by 27.25 points at the level of 17,158.45 points. Shares of BAJAJ-AUTO, EICHER MOTORS, INFOSYS, HERO MOTOCORP and ICICI Bank were seen in the top gainers of Nifty. On the other hand, JSW STEEL, M&M, BPCL, ADANI ENT ​​and APOLLO HOSP were the top losers.

On the other hand, there were weak signals from the global market. On Friday, the last trading day of the week, the US market closed with a big decline of 3 percent. Dow Jones fell 404 points to 29635 and Nasdaq lost 327 points to close at 10321 points. The S&P 500 declined 2.37 percent. The 10-year bond yield jumped to over 4%.

Earlier on Friday, the stock market saw a rise due to buying in Infosys, bank shares. On the last day of the trading week, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 57,919.97, up 684.64 points. At one point during the trading, it had climbed around 1200 points. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17,185.70 with a gain of 171.35 points. The biggest gain of about four percent was seen in the stock of Infosys.
