Stones Pelted During Navratri Celebrations, 6 injured in Gujarat

6 people injured in stone pelting during Navratri celebrations in Kheda district of Gujarat. An incident of stone pelting took place in Undhela village of the district last night. According to DACP Kheda, the people in the group along with Arif and Zahir created disturbance in the Navratri festival and then pelted stones. 6 people have been injured in this incident. DSP Rajesh Gadhia said that all the accused who pelted stones are being identified. Strict action will be taken against this. Police force was deployed in the village after the incident. Apart from this, other arrangements are being made.

Earlier, the incident of students raising slogans of Hussain or Hussain at a Garba event in Kheda, Gujarat had come to light in which some teachers were suspended after preliminary inquiry. In the Hathaj incident of Kheda district, the students were forced to speak or Hussain. After the incident came to light, the leaders of Hindu Dharma Sena had demanded strict action.

Garba and Aarti programs are organized throughout Gujarat during Navratri. The nine-day long Navratri is celebrated in a big way in Gujarat. A few days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had visited the state and went to Ambaji to worship Mother Adyashakti.
