Tata Punch: In its Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished trims, Tata Punch now comes with a digital instrument cluster as standard equipment. This action was taken in an attempt to rival the Hyundai EXTER, which likewise comes with a digital screen as standard.
Tata Punch to get a full digital instrument cluster
This identical digital cluster device is also available with the Tata Tiago, Tigor, and the entry-level Nexon model. The semi-digital instrument cluster, which debuted with the older Safari and Harrier models and has a more upscale display, will remain a feature of the Punch’s top-spec Creative edition.
The goal of making the digital instrument cluster standard on all models of the Hyundai Exter is to rival it more forcefully. With this additional innovation, Tata Motors is anticipated to slightly increase the Punch’s price.
Punch specs and features
The 1.2-litre petrol engine from the manufacturer powers the Tata Punch, producing 86PS and 113 Nm. This engine can even run on fuel that includes 20% ethanol, or E20, thanks to upgrades made to fulfil RDE regulations. An AMT or a 5-speed manual are further possibilities for the SUV. The AMT has a fuel efficiency of 18.8 km/l, whereas the manual type has 20.09 km/l.
The Punch has automated climate control, automatic headlights, linked car technology, a seven-inch touchscreen, a largely digital instrument panel, and cruise control. It is equipped with two front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child safety anchors, rear defoggers, and a rearview camera.
The starting price for Punch is Rs. 5.99 Lakh. Punch comes in 27 variations and 8 different colour options.
