Top 3 4X4 SUVs: Although front-wheel drive vehicles have made up the majority of SUVs sold in India over the past few years despite the SUV body type’s growing popularity. If one did decide to add some more traction capabilities, the options were either quite pricey or sacrificed feature comforts. The Indian-spec 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine in the Suzuki Jimny generates 104 Hp and 134 Nm of torque. You have the option of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Jimny has a low-range transfer case and can drive all four wheels.

A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, automated climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, and a multi-info display are some of the top features of the Jimny. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and a camera, and electronic stability control all contribute to passenger safety.

Jimny’s starting ex-showroom pricing has been set by the business at Rs 12.75 lakh. The manual Zeta version is priced at this amount. The Zeta Automatic costs Rs 13.94 lakh ex-showroom in this. The higher trims of the 2.2-litre diesel engine produce 175PS/300Nm, compared to 132PS/300Nm in the base models (370Nm and 400Nm). With a 200PS/output. Maruti’s midsize SUV has a 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid and 1.5-litre petrol strong-hybrid engine with 103 PS and 116 PS, respectively. The latter features three driving modes: petrol, hybrid, and pure electric vehicle. It also boasts self-charging technology.

The Grand Vitara has a heads-up display, a digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, and a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Up to six airbags may be included in Grand Vitara’s safety kit, along with an electronic stability programme (ESP), ABS with EBD, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Moreover, a 360-degree camera, hill-descent control, and ISOFIX child-seat anchors are included.

Retail prices for Maruti’s midsize SUV range from Rs. 10.45 lakh to Rs. 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
