When did Tunisia first proclaimed a state of emergency?

Following a brutal bombing of a presidential guards bus on November 24, 2015, which left 12 agents dead, Tunisia first proclaimed a state of emergency.

The emergency law of Tunisia grants the government extraordinary powers, such as the ability to conduct home arrests, prevent official gatherings, impose curfews, monitor the press and media, forbid assemblies, and control the media without the judiciary’s consent.

Kais Saied decided to extend the national state of emergency to the end of 2022 on February 18.
