Uddhav Thackeray not  invited for the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Ram temple ?

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has not been invited for the historic Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Ram temple on August 5, according to sources. 

Alok Kumar  Kumar, Working President of Vishva Hindu Parishad said, "No Chief Minister from any state is being invited for this ceremony. Only Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will be in Ayodhya for 'bhoomi pujan' as per the protocol."

Earlier, In an interview with Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that Bhoomi Poojan at Ayodhya Ram Temple can be conducted through video-conference in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"An e-bhoomi pujan can be done. The ground-breaking ceremony can be held through video-conference. This is an event of joy, and lakhs of people would be interested in attending the ceremony. Will we allow the spread of coronavirus'" Thackeray said.

Alok Kumar on Monday shot back saying that Thackrey's statement only showed his blind opposition to the function and portrayed a fall of what once a Hindutva party-led by legendary Bala Saheb Thackrey.

The ‘bhumi pujan’ will be done by restricting participation to 200 people and complying with all health and security advisories.

After Bhoomi Pujan, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the construction of the temple with silver brick. This silver brick has reached Ayodhya. It is a 22.6 kg brick of pure silver.

There will be a total of 17 parts of this temple, which is divided into sections like Shikhar, Garbhagriha, Kalash Gopuram Rath, Mandap and Earth Mandap, Parikrama Torana, Pradakshina Adhisthana.
