UP Govt To Hold Roadshows In 12 Countries

The Uttar Pradesh government has drawn up a mega plan for ‘global branding’ of the state ahead of the proposed Global Investors Summit in January 2023. Under this, various ministers of the government will conduct road shows in about a dozen countries before the event.

A spokesman of the state government said here that the state government has prepared a major action plan for the ‘UP Global Investors’ Summit’ to be held in January 2023.

Under this, before the conference for global branding of the state, all the ministers of the state will visit about 12 countries and conduct road shows.

The roadshows are a part of Adityanath’s action plan to attract investments worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore. A statement released by the officials said various prominent figures of the industrial world will be invited for investment after they have been informed about the investment-friendly environment of the state.

He said that as the brand ambassador of Uttar Pradesh, the team of ministers would organize road shows in different countries and introduce them to the potential and possibilities of Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself will also go on a tour of one country.

The spokesperson added that Singapore has expressed its desire to go ahead and become the ‘First Country Partner’ for the ‘UP Global Investor Summit’.

Prior to this, Netherlands, Japan, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic, Mauritius, Thailand, Nepal, Belgium have been the country partners in the investors conference of the year 2018.

Along with these countries, road shows are being organized in countries like UK, USA, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Sweden, Singapore, Netherlands, Israel, France, Germany, South Korea, Mauritius, Russia and Australia. These visits of ministers can be done between September and November this year.
