Vespa Primavera and Sprint S updated for 2024

With revised grips and switchgear, the Primavera and Sprint S feature fully enclosed handlebars, making them both lighter and more compact than the Vespa GTS versions. The front shield’s interior, which has a premium appearance and feel, is also new. New cast aluminium five-spoked wheels are now available for the Primavera, while six-spoked wheels are now available for the Sprint S. Round LED headlights on the Primavera and hexagonal LED headlights on the Sprint are a primary visual distinction between the two versions.

Thanks to the use of modern materials that guarantee a superior finish, even the seat has been upgraded throughout the various models.

Powertrain details

Much of the underlying mechanics of the redesigned Vespa Primavera and Sprint S scooter line are unchanged, with the exception of emission compliance. The 50cc models use a 49cc single-cylinder, three-valve engine that produces 2.9 Nm of maximum torque and 3 horsepower at peak power. For quick trips through urban streets, this scooter is ideal.

The 125cc models have a 124cc engine that produces 10.4 Nm and 11 horsepower. A 155cc engine producing 12.34 horsepower and 12.4 Nm powers the 150cc versions. Automatic CVT transmission is standard on all models. There are three different top speeds for electric variants: 25 km/h, 45 km/h, and 70 km/h. A 4.2 kWh battery pack powers every version.

Features

Vespa promises new technology for the Primavera and Sprint models in 2024. The revised instrument panel on the Primavera features both digital and analogue capabilities, signifying the fusion of rich legacy and modern technology. It also gets a new Keyless System. For models featuring the sizable five-inch TFT display (available only on 150cc models), the Vespa MIA Multimedia Platform has also been added to the lineup. Every scooter has LED lights installed for improved visibility.
