West Bengal School Board appoints Ramanuj Ganguly its president

West Bengal: On Thursday, Ramanuj Ganguly was appointed as President of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) After replacing Kalyanmoy Ganguly. Ramanuj Ganguly replaced Kalyanmoy Ganguly, who is going through investigations by CBI in connection with the recruitment scam.

Ramanuj Ganguly will stay in the post for one year till 22 June 2023. Prior to this, Ganguly was a professor at Weet Bengal State University in Barsat.
On June 21, Kalyanmoy Ganguly’s tenure ended, and soon he faced questioning by CBI over irregularities related to the School Service Commission. He is being questioned over multiple recruitment drives held for schools in the state.
