The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2025 is set to be conducted online on February 22 and 23, 2025, for candidates aspiring to join various branches of the Indian Air Force (IAF). The exam will be held in two sessions daily – 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Exam Schedule and Reporting Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the first shift must report by 8:00 AM, while those taking the second shift should be present by 1:00 PM. The verification process, including Admit Card and ID verification, biometric authentication, and photograph capturing, will take place from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM for the first shift and from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM for the second shift.
Reading of instructions will be allowed from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM for the first shift and 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM for the second shift. Late entry beyond 8:00 AM for Shift-1 and 1:00 PM for Shift-2 will not be permitted under any circumstances.
AFCAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The AFCAT exam will have 100 questions divided into four sections:
General Awareness
Verbal Ability in English
Numerical Ability
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test
The test will have a total duration of two hours, with a maximum score of 300 marks.
Marking Scheme
3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
No marks will be given for unanswered questions.
Scores will be normalized before result declaration to ensure fairness.
