Patna’s Gardanibagh has become the epicenter of student protests, as BPSC aspirants demand a re-examination of the preliminary exam, alleging discrepancies. Amid the growing unrest, Jan Suraj chief Prashant Kishore extended his support to the students, urging the Bihar government to address their grievances without delay.

Speaking at the protest site, Kishore highlighted the tragic suicide of a student as a wake-up call for the authorities. “The government should meet the students' representatives and consider their demand for a re-examination. It is unfortunate that a young life was lost due to this situation. The government must immediately announce a compensation of Rs. 10,00,000 for the bereaved family,” he said.

Ultimatum to the Government

Kishore issued a stern warning to the administration, giving it a three-day deadline to resolve the crisis. He emphasized the urgency of addressing the students’ demands, stating, “If the government does not act within three days and the students decide to escalate their protest, I will personally lead the march.”

Escalating Tensions in Patna

The protestors have alleged irregularities in the BPSC preliminary exam and are demanding accountability from the authorities. The suicide of a student has further intensified the situation, with calls for systemic reforms and immediate redressal of grievances.

Kishore's intervention underscores the growing pressure on the Bihar government to take swift action. His demands for dialogue with student representatives, re-examination, and financial compensation reflect the urgency of the situation.

As the deadline looms, all eyes are on the Bihar administration to respond effectively and prevent further escalation of protests, ensuring justice for the aspirants and their families.
