CUET UG 2023: Check Important Dates, Eligibility, Steps To Apply

The application process for the second phase of Common University Entrance Test has started. The National Testing Agency has started the registration process for CUET UG 2023 late Thursday night. Students seeking admission in undergraduate courses can apply online through the official website of CUET UG, cuet.samarth.ac.in. The application form for CUET UG 2023 will be filled till March 12, 2023. UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar tweeted and shared the information about the commencement of CUET UG 2023 registration and application process on Twitter yesterday. He said that the exam centre will be issued on April 30 while the admit cards for CUET UG will be issued in the second week of May.

CUET UG provides a single window to students seeking admission to all Central Universities (CUs) or State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities across the country. Students who have passed class 12th exam or appearing this year can apply for CUET UG.

Application Fee for CUET UG

Candidates applying for 3 subjects will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750 for general category, Rs 700 for OBC category, Rs 650 for SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender candidates and Rs 3750 for students from outside India.

There will be three sections in the CUET UG exam – Section 1 (Language), Section 2 (Domain) and Section 3 (General Test). Sections 1 and 2 will have 50 questions each, out of which 40 will have to be attempted. Section 3 will have 75 questions out of 60. Students will get 45 minutes for Section 1 and 2 and 60 minutes for Section 3.

UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar tweeted, CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in three shifts over several days depending on the number of candidates and subject. Candidates can apply for CUET UG 2023 through online mode at the website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in.
