DME Law School Noida Hosts its first ever Law Fest : Jus Cosmos 2025

Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida, affiliated with GGSIP University, successfully hosted its first- ever law fest, JusCosmos'25, from April 1st to 6th, 2025. This ambitious, hybrid-format event was proudly sponsored by Vidhisastras as the Title Sponsor and supported by esteemed partners, including SCC Online, Law Bhoomi, Katcherlin, Karatz Law Academy, Jus Corpus, Kanoon Wise, and several academic collaborators.

The event brought together 400 law students from 75 law schools across India to compete, collaborate, and celebrate the spirit of law. It kicked off with three online flagship events: Policy Making Competition 2025, Judgement Writing Competition 2025, and Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Competition.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Hon'ble Dr. Justice Mukundakam Sharma, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, and Senior Adv. Chetan Sharma, Additional Solicitor General, Delhi High Court. Other dignitaries, such as Adv. Akash Deep, Founder and Managing Partner, Vidhisastras, and Adv. Sumit Nagpal, Delhi High Court, addressed the ceremony virtually.

The event featured a Model United Nations (MUN) panel discussion, marked by thought-provoking debates and fervent diplomacy. The discussion was led by Ambassador Mr. Amarendra Khatua, Director, Millennial India International Chamber of Commerce Industry & Agriculture, IFS (Retd.) Secretary (Special Assignment), Ministry of External Affairs (Govt. of India), and Former Director General (ICCR).

The Moot Court Final, adjudicated by Hon’ble Ms. Justice Neena Bansal, Judge, Delhi High Court, and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Bhanwar Singh, Former Judge, Allahabad High Court, and Director General, DME, showcased exceptional courtroom advocacy. After a closely contested verdict, students of University of Law and Legal Studies, GGSIPU, Main Campus was declared the winner of the Moot Court Competition 2025. Students from OP Jindal Global University were the runners-up in the competition. 

The valedictory ceremony featured closing remarks from the guests of honour and an award distribution ceremony. JusCosmos'25 made history as DME's first law fest and a trailblazing national event that seamlessly blended academic rigour with cultural brilliance, showcasing institutional capabilities, student leadership, and commitment to legal excellence.
