EDUCATION: Some tips for NEET aspirants to win over pressure and anxiety

Here are six tips to overcome the pressure and anxiety of the NEET Exam.

Exams create unnecessary stress among the students. Every student who is going to attend the exam feels a lot of pressure. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test commonly known as NEET is considered to be a tough exam due to super high competition.The students preparing for NEET Exam are often seen stressed and worried about their results.

The pressure from family and known people makes them feel less confident and nervous.But,no need to worry  much and read the tips given below to fight against stress and anxiety.

1. Start your revision early

Many students schedule their revision for the last month before the exam, as the time is low,they miss some topics.In return this creates more pressure on students and even a single question  from those missed topic highly affect the student’s mind in the exam hall.So,it is advised to schedule revision 2-3 months before the exam,and the one before the exam should be kept for relaxation.

2.Carry on learn-practice-test pedagogy

The learn-practice-test is the best method to score a high score in the exam.Many students there are those who skip one of these steps and feel pressured.Speed and accuracy are the important factors while practicing.So, always consider speed and accuracy in your learning process.

3.Don’t copy others timetable

Make your own timetable as every individual thinks and studies differently.So,rare chances are there when a common standard timetable suits everyone. Analyze your syllabus,your strengths and weak subjects and according to it create your own timetable.

4.Study different subjects

Many of the students often focus on only one subject.At last,there may be some instances where the other subjects are left out and you may miss out on revising them.So, dedicate some hours to each subject daily to create a balance.

5.Make short notes and mistake journals

Along with classroom notes,make short notes of the important topics such  as formulae,names,events,dates,incidents,etc.,while studying a chapter.While attempting a paper or test note down your mistakes in a journal.These notes will help you in revision before going to the exam hall or a day before the exam.

6.Take proper sleep

As per the doctors,a minimum of 6-7 hours of sleep is necessary to relax the body and mind.If you fail to dedicate a certain time to sleep,you may feel many health issues.

It is mandatory for you to include relaxation time and sleep hours in your time table.It is important to take at least ten minutes break after 1-2 hours of study.

Always remember one thing that no one can achieve success overnight, while taking  more pressure and stress. A lot of dedication and commitment is required to achieve a good score in the NEET exam and admission to the best medical institutions.
