GLA University Mathura Gets Best Engineering Ranking

Mathura: Keeping its flag flying high, GLA University, Mathura has been known for proving its excellence in every aspect of professional education and other related aspects. The University is committed towards quality higher education, credible placement, outstanding research, state-of-the-art labs and laboratories, library, other infrastructure amenities. The University is known for its student-centric approach. It has taken steps forward always in the pertinent direction so as to ensure that the learning process at the university becomes all the more relevant with each passing year which is duly reflected in the recognitions, awards and accolades coming its way. In this regard, recently the university proved its mettle again when it featured among the best national and state-level institutions in the ‘Best Engineering Ranking’ released by Times Engineering which surveyed the top 175 government and private institutions of which 125 were the private engineering institutions. In this, GLA University was accorded with the 18th rank.

Along with this, it also bagged third position in the Uttar Pradesh in the category of Top Placement/Best Engineering Institute. The University is making right strides in the direction of patent publishing and grants for projects along with publications in quality research journals.

The University has been awarded frequently in the past owing to such metrics as its quality-centric education, placement, state-of-the-art infrastructure, research methods, faculty members, dialogue with industry, summer training, etc. The University is providing unrelenting support and academic learning to the students through the online platform. More than 400 organizations offered employment opportunities to the 2021 either offline or online. More than 2,100 students from the 2021 batch have already been placed.

Placements ranging between 7 lacs and 31 lacs have been offered to the students. Recently, a Computer Science student was offered a package of 28 LPA by Tachyon. The Honourable Chancellor of the University, Shri Narayan Das Agrawal appreciated the efforts of the Training and Placement Department because of which the University is touching new milestones with regard to placements. Along with it, the Training and Development Department is working continuously to prepare the students for ensuring their success in getting suitable employment opportunities. The students start earning stipends up to Rs 50,000 during their internship itself. Because of this unique aspect, GLA University is considered in an altogether different league as compared to other institutions.
