Haryana: Schools will open for children of class IV-V from September 1

Schools will open for children of class IV-V in Haryana from September 1. Children can come to school only with the permission of the parents. Classes will be conducted as per Covid standards. Education Minister Kanwar Pal said that the decision has been taken not to open the school for the children of class 1st to 3rd.

He said that according to the seating capacity in the class room, children of classes IV to V would be invited to the school. In a class with more than thirty children, only 50 percent will be called in a day. There will be separate entry and exit gates in the class. Only one child will sit at a desk.

Children will not get lunch in school. A water bottle will also have to be brought with you from home. The School Education Department has instructed the schools to check the temperature by thermal screening of the children at the entrance itself. If the temperature exceeds the set standards, send the children back home. Get the schools sanitized and ensure a distance of two yards and wearing of masks etc.
