QS World University Rankings: Indian educational institutions have once again made a remarkable impact on the global stage. According to the QS World University Rankings, 9 universities from India have secured a place in the top 50 worldwide across various subjects. This includes prestigious institutions like IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and several others. Notably, in the 15th edition of these rankings, India has secured 12 spots in the top 50 across different disciplines, marking a historic milestone. This achievement highlights India’s growing influence in global education.

Indian Universities Achieving Top Global Ranks

Several Indian institutions have secured notable positions in the QS World University Rankings across diverse fields:

  1. ISM Dhanbad ranks 20th in Engineering - Mineral and Mining
  2. IIT Bombay secures 40th place in Engineering - Mineral and Mining
  3. IIT Kharagpur follows closely at 45th position
  4. IIT Delhi holds the 47th rank in Engineering - Electrical and Electronic
  5. IIT Bombay also secures the 50th rank in the same field
  6. IIM Ahmedabad stands at 27th rank in Business and Management Studies
  7. IIM Bangalore ranks 40th in the same category
  8. IIT Madras attains 31st position in Engineering - Petroleum
  9. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) secures 29th place in Development Studies
